A ranger from the north, he joins Therius's tournament for reasons linked to the darkness growing in the east.

When Kevor was two years old, his father was killed while pursuing orcs. Kevor was afterwards fostered in Celesthen by Arandil the elf-king. At the request of his mother, his lineage was kept secret, as she feared he would be killed like his father and grandfather if his true identity as the descendant of Elendil became known. Kevor being the only living person who can wield the might powers of Narithil the Firestar and drive back the darkness to the east. Kevor was renamed Ambar (Fate in Elvish) and was not told about his heritage until he came of age. Arandil revealed to Kevor his true name and ancestry, and delivered to him the shards of Elendil’s sword Narithil. Kevor didn’t stay in the elven city, instead he took the the newly forged Narithil and went to seek out the Rangers of the North where he could be hidden from the darkness and trained to use Narithil to its true potential.
After hearing about the grand tournament the king of Hammervale was going to hold, Kevor left the exile of the forest to the north and went in search of Therius. After reaching Hammervale Kevor learned that Therius intended to used the tournament to draw out powerful warriors to send on a quest to find relics of power to thwart the growing evil in the east. Seeing this as an oppurtunity to help the push back the darkness to the east, Kevor signs up for the tournament.
